WasteConnect is designed to be used throughout the full operational lifecycle of waste management.

Job Planning

  • Create detailed jobs for new customers by entering waste items, estimated quantities, sales details, and collection locations.

  • Set up recurring jobs for customers with regular collection schedules such as weekly or fortnightly services.

Scheduling

  • Plan daily or weekly runs by grouping compatible tasks that should be completed together.

  • Assign tasks to runs so drivers can clearly see what work is scheduled for each shift.

  • Allocate drivers and vehicles to ensure each run has the correct resources assigned.

Field Operations

  • Drivers view their assigned runs on mobile devices, including task order, locations, and instructions.

  • Drivers record actual quantities collected during each task to ensure accurate waste tracking.

  • Drivers take photos and add notes to capture site conditions, access issues, or discrepancies.

  • Drivers mark assets as dropped off or collected so asset locations remain accurate.

Receival

  • Record waste received at your facility after collection runs are completed.

  • Verify received quantities against what drivers recorded during collection.

  • Record discrepancies where collected and received quantities do not match.

Inventory And Sorting

  • Track waste balances by type and EPA waste code at each site.

  • Sort waste into defined categories after receival where sorting is required.

  • Plan outbound movements and processing based on available inventory.

Reporting

  • Generate customer-facing collection reports that summarise waste activity.

  • Maintain audit trails across jobs, tasks, runs, receivals, and inventory movements.

Customer Management

  • Maintain accurate customer contact details, addresses, and site-specific notes.

  • View a full history of jobs and collections for each customer.

  • Track customer lifetime value based on completed jobs and invoiced sales items.
