An Asset is a physical item tracked in the system — such as skip bins, excavators, forklifts, trailers, or holding tanks.

Asset information

  • Identifier (unique ID, e.g. SKIP-001)

  • Type (Skip Bin, Excavator, Forklift, Trailer, Holding Tank)

  • Sub-type (site-specific category, e.g. 6m³ Skip Bin)

  • Description (optional)

  • Current location

  • Current customer (if deployed)

Asset status

  • AVAILABLE

  • PLANNED_FOR_USE

  • IN_USE

  • MAINTENANCE

  • END_OF_LIFE


Why track assets?

  • Know what equipment is available

  • Track which customer has which bins

  • Plan drop-offs and collections

  • Preserve movement history and audit records
