How to Create and Schedule a Run

Step 1: Start run creation

  • Go to Runs → Create Run

Step 2: Enter run details

  • Name

  • Date

  • Driver

  • Vehicle

  • Driver notes (optional)

  • Estimated start/end times (optional)

Step 3: Select tasks

  • Map shows available UNSCHEDULED tasks

  • Filter by:

    • Site

    • Preferred date range

    • Customer

  • Click tasks to add to the run
    (Tasks can also be pre-selected from the task details page.)

Step 4: Order tasks

  • Drag and drop to reorder

  • The order determines the driver’s sequence

Step 5: Create run

  • Confirm details

  • Ensure at least one task is selected

  • Click Create Run

After creation

  • Selected tasks become SCHEDULED

  • Run appears in Runs list and Calendar

  • Assigned driver can view the run

Best practices

  • Group tasks geographically

  • Respect preferred dates

  • Ensure drop-offs occur before collections where required

  • Match vehicle capacity to task requirements

Use realistic time estimates
