This article describes how transport waste tasks move from assignment through collection and any required drop-off or receival.
Before collection
The task should be Assigned (scheduled with driver and vehicle). The driver reviews manifest items, origin address, and site notes.
Collection outcomes
When the driver runs Collect:
Outcome | When to use | Result |
Full collection | One or more waste items were collected | Task proceeds toward drop-off or receival as configured |
Partial collection | Some items collected; others left on site | Collected items continue; unchecked items stay active with a required note |
After collection
Depending on the job:
Drop off - complete the drop-off step at the destination when your site requires it on the transport task.
Receival - receive waste at your site when the job is configured for on-site receival.
