Task calendar and map
Scheduling is task-centric: plan work from Calendar (by driver or vehicle) or Map (by location). Assign a driver and vehicle to move transport tasks to Assigned, ready for collection in the field. Calendar and map share the same date filters when you switch between them.
Jobs and recurring collections
Create jobs with the three-step wizard (customer, job details, tasks). Set repeating schedules with Weekly, Bi-weekly, Every 4 weeks, or Every 8 weeks. Jobs move through Confirmed, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled, and Closed as work progresses.
Driver collection outcomes
On transport waste tasks, drivers can record a full collection, a partial collection (with a note for items left on site), or an empty visit when they attended but collected nothing (with a required note). These paths keep manifests and job status accurate without treating a missed pickup the same as a partial load.
Invoicing and billing groups
Sites with invoicing enabled can group completed jobs by billing group, create invoices in WasteConnect, and export to Xero when billing integration is connected. WasteConnect prepares invoice data; payment stays in your accounting system.
Inventory and receivals
Sites that receive waste can track inventory by material and process receivals after collection and delivery.
Reports
Sites with reporting enabled can run report templates against jobs or sites and export results (including PDF where supported).
